Tuesday’s boys and girls basketball recaps (Dec. 17)

Andale 52, Clearwater 42 — Easton Hunter had 17 points for Andale, while Baron Biermann had 14 and Nilles had 10.

Clearwater’s Jake Wellington had 13 points.

Arkansas City 63, Eisenhower 60 — Jamauri Jordan led Ark City with 15, while Brock Merz had 10, Haden O’Toole 12 and Doug Stewart had 11.

Augusta 72, Circle 42 — Augusta’s Jaren Jackson had 20 points, hitting six threes, including five in the second quarter. Davidson had 17 points and Wilcox added 12.

Drew Middleton led Circle with 13.

Collegiate 63, Mulvane 52 — Gorze led Collegiate with 20 and Thornton had 12. Trey Abasolo led Mulvane with 18 points, while Ian Comer had 10.

Concordia 44, Marysville 43 — Concordia’s Chas Carlgren had 21 points and Cav Carlgren had 14.  Holle had 11 points for Marysville.

Conway Springs 54, Douglass 35 — Heath Hilger had 21 points for Conway.

Derby 63, Maize 61 — There were four lead changes in the final 3:28, two ties in the final two minutes. Nick Bonner scored the final four baskets for Derby.

Hillsboro 75, Marion 31 — Hillsboro’s Matthew Potucek had 18 points on 8-of-9 shooting. Brekyn Ratzlaff had 10 points, eight assists and Dayton Foster had 11 points.

Marion’s Braedon Mercer had 12 points.

McPherson 64, Buhler 47 —  McPherson’s Cody Stufflebean scored 16 points and had 11 rebounds, while Seth Madron had 20 points and six assists.

Max Alexander led Buhler with 18 and Myles Thompson had 10.

Northwest 72, North 40 –– Braydon Verbeck scored a game-high 16 points for Northwest, while David Duncan added 15 and Deontre Stewart had 13. Emmanuel Gonzalez had 15 points for North.

Rose Hill 59, Wellington 51 — Koby Campbell had 26 points for Rose Hill. He has scored 31, 31, 37 and 26.

Salina Central 52, Valley Center 46 — Reed McHenry had 21 points for Salina Central. Jevon Burnett had nine rebounds.

Salina South 70, Newton 52 — Koby Ratcliff led Salina South with 18. Jaxon Brackeen and Alex Krogmeier each had 15 for Newton.

Kapaun 49, South 47 — Freshman Will Anciaux had 16 points for Kapaun and Blake Danitschek had 14, while Grant Johnson had 10. Loggins led South with 11 and Hutton added 10.

Girls

Andover Central 59, Goddard 56 —  Bailey Wilson led Andover Central with 22, while Brittany Harshaw had 18.

Kade Hackerott had 23 for Goddard and Brooke Sullivan added 12

Circle 53, Augusta 29 —  Maci Claycamp had 12 to lead Circle in the win. Kimalee Cook had 11 points and Mallory Cowman had 10.

Anderson had 10 points for Augusta.

Derby 50, Maize 42 — Derby broke a 38-all tie, scoring 12 of the game’s next 13 points to get the win. Sydney Nilles had seven of the Panthers’ 12 points in the run.

Dodge City 57, Hugoton 52 — Kisa Unruh had 16 points for Dodge City, while Camree Johnson had 15.

Haven 41, Nickerson 34 — Haven was led by Faith Paramore’s 22 points and Sara Yutzy’s 12. Paramore hit 4 of 7 three-pointers.

Ava Jones had 12 points and Morgan Stout had 11 for Nickerson.

Hesston 40, Smoky Valley 34 — Hesston’s Alise Kaiser had a game-high 19 points, while Smoky Valley was led by Kerington Haxton’s 12 points.

Hillsboro 46, Marion 16 — Hillsboro’s Teegan Werth had 16 points.

Kapaun 61, South 41 —  Evan Dalian hit four three-pointers and had 14 points, while Sophia Gimino and Ella Anciaux each had 12, and Jennifer Jacobs finished with 10.

McPherson 62, Buhler 35 — McPherson’s Grace Pyle had 27 points, hitting 6 of 9 three-pointers with six rebounds, three steals and three assists. Kassidy Beam had 13 points.

Alyvia Owens had 12 points, 10 rebounds for Buhler, while Kara Stutterheim had 13 points.

Salina Central 63, Valley Center 33 — Aubrie Kierscht and Hampton Williams each had 14 points, while Kaydn Cobb and Mykayla Cunningham each had 12 and Lici Samilton had 11.

Salina South 57, Newton 44 —  Salina South was led by Kylie Arnold’s 13 points. Jenisa Cornejo had 14 for Newton.

Wellington 52, Rose Hill 33 — Ali Zeka had 25 points for Wellington.

Winfield 45, El Dorado 40 — Sultz led Winfield with 14 while Schumacher had 13.

Mallory Parsons had 10 for El Dorado, Camien had 12 and Faudere had 11.
