Isabelle has rapidly turned into one of the state’s elite pole vaulters. At the Class 3A state meet at Wichita State’s Cessna Stadium, Isabelle set a state-meet 3A record by clearing 12 feet, 8 inches. She joined the competition at 10-6 and had few problems in winning the gold medal. She cleared four of her rst ve attempts, and then set the meet record on her second attempt. Her seed coming into state was 12-0.
