Lansing’s Brady Heim – Athlete Spotlight – Presented by Preferred Physical Therapy

By Angela Brunk

Lansing High School senior Brady Heim is gearing up for a defining year for the Lions, ready to step into his full leadership role and help steer his team in a competitive conference. A combo guard who plays both point guard and shooting guard, Heim brings scoring, playmaking, and a steady presence on the court.

Individually, his goals this season are to play his role for the team, knock down shots at a high percentage, and continue being a dependable leader on the floor. After last season’s challenges, Heim and his teammates are unified in their vision to turn around their record and make a serious push for the state tournament.

He’s especially excited to see what his squad can do in UKC play. With determination and growth, Heim believes Lansing has the potential to make a statement this year. “I can’t wait to see our full potential and how we match up in the UKC,” he said.

During the offseason, Heim spent hours in the weight room and the gym, honing every facet of his game. His hard work supported his strong leadership last season, when he led Lansing in assists, demonstrating his ability to create opportunities for his teammates.

Looking ahead to college, Heim plans to pursue a doctorate in physical therapy. He’s already earned an offer to play basketball at the University of Saint Mary.

With his senior season approaching, Brady Heim brings leadership, skill, and heart, ready to take the Lions to face all competition this season.
