St. James Academy senior Elle Robinson is entering her final season determined to leave a lasting legacy on the program she’s helped elevate during her high school career. A versatile forward who thrives at both the 3 and 4 spots, Robinson has become known for her toughness, rebounding presence, and ability to take over games on both ends of the floor.

This year, Robinson has set a slate of ambitious individual goals. Robinson wants to record a double-double every game, earn All-EKL First Team honors, and, most importantly, serve as a strong and steady leader for her teammates. Leaving a lasting impact that future players will feel long after she graduates.

For the team, the mission is to win state, win the EKL, and continue raising the standard for the St. James basketball program.

Robinson is especially eager for some of the marquee moments on the upcoming schedule, including matchups against sister schools Bishop Miege and St. Thomas Aquinas, the competitive Newton Tournament, and the emotional milestone of Senior Night. “I’m excited to wear the Thunder uniform one last time,” she said.

Her preparation for the season has included fall weights, conditioning, and countless reps in open gyms, work that has already paid dividends throughout her career. Last season, Robinson earned SIK 5A All-State Second Team and All-EKL Second Team honors, a significant rise from her freshman-year Honorable Mention. She also delivered the best statistical game of her career with a dominant 22-point, 16-rebound performance against Piper.

Looking ahead, Robinson plans to continue her basketball journey at Benedictine College. In addition to basketball, she also plays soccer in the spring and is a dedicated member of the National Honor Society, another example of the leadership she brings to St. James both on and off the court.
