The Engine of Piper’s Offense
At Piper, the keys to the offense belong to senior point guard Faith McCallop. As the Pirates transition from an excellent graduating class, her leadership and guard play give them a proven star to build around.
Head coach Shane Stout called her “a true PG” who “controls the game on both ends of the floor” and whose “motor never stops,” noting that she has signed to play at the University of Central Arkansas. McCallop averaged 16.9 points, 3.5 assists, and 3.5 steals per game last season and earned UKC first-team honors in 2024–25.
With Piper returning one of the top guards in the state but otherwise growing younger and more inexperienced, McCallop’s ability to dictate tempo, score, and defend at a high level will be central to keeping the program in the mix for postseason success.
