Coach Keim told VYPE he had three goals for the team this year. “Win our CPL Conference (accomplished), Win our Sub-State (accomplished), and Win a state title (Finished 2nd in-state).”

The team’s second-place victory at state is what Keim said was his favorite coaching-related memory so far. Saying “They worked so hard this offseason! I was proud of what they accomplished and it showed this year on the floor.”

Keim also took a moment to sing the praises of two of his co-workers – the strength and conditioning Coach and the Athletic trainer. Specifying that “Our trainer is my right-hand man during the season and he has a great sense of humor. Our S&C Coach can be pretty intense and he helps keep me focused.”

He wrapped things up by saying “being around the kids from November to March” is his favorite part of working with them. Adding “It’s such a long time but I enjoy being a part of their lives and listening to them joke around with each other. We have some great kids.”
