Wichita East’s Maxwell Christie loves being a leader. Telling VYPE that this year there is a lot of underclassmen to help.

As he works toward a state title Christie is also counting down to the day he’ll be leaving high school behind to brave his Naval Reserve Officer Training. Ultimately, what he shared is that he wants to finish this year strong.

To accomplish this Christie will be putting in work on the track and off. As a member of Wichita East’s Spanish honors club, the National Honors Society, Kappa League, and International baccalaureate Christie is always trying to better himself and fulfill his potential.
