Allie Kneisler: A Four-Year Star
At Lyndon, everything on offense tends to flow through senior guard Allie Kneisler. A four-year varsity starter who went over 1,000 career points as a junior, she enters this season as the Tigers’ headline scoring threat and emotional anchor.
Head coach Megan Heckel pointed to both her résumé and her trajectory. Kneisler averaged 20.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.86 assists, and 2.6 steals last season, has improved her scoring, rebounding, and steals every year, and has already committed to St. Mary’s in Leavenworth on a full-ride scholarship, while earning unanimous first-team all-league honors and multiple all-state mentions. Heckel emphasized that she “works hard and doesn’t back down from tasks asked of her,” has “improved so much in handling pressure and rising to the occasion,” and has been “such fun to coach” over three seasons.
With Lyndon coming off a 15-8 campaign and returning a core that values quickness and mental toughness, Kneisler’s ability to score at volume, defend the perimeter, and lead under pressure gives the Tigers a legitimate top-100-level star.
