The Greater Wichita YMCA is looking to fill more than 75 positions this summer for child care and camp staff. Interested applicants are invited to stop by any of our scheduled hiring events that will be held at Y branches. Appointments are not necessary, and interviews will be held on site. Additional details about the Y’s 175 open lifeguard positions at indoor pools and water parks will be made available on all dates; the Newton and East Y hiring events are exclusively for lifeguards.
ABOUT THEPOSITIONS: There are many benefits to working at the Y. The pay range for Child Care and Camp positions is $11-$16 per hour. Staff schedules are between 15-35 hours a week, with the potential for an end-of-summer bonus. Paid training is also offered as well as a free Y membership.
