Tonight’s basketball scores, recaps (Dec. 2)

By Joanna Chadwick

I’m thrilled that high school basketball is back, but I’m especially loving the story out of Southeast-Saline High.

There was a power outage in the second quarter of the girls game, and after extending delays, Kansas Wesleyan said the girls and boys games could be played there tonight.

Now that’s ensuring a good outcome, no matter if there was a win or a loss.

“This community shows up for us,” Steve Wilson of KWU tweeted. “We will always return the favor if we are able. I’m glad it came together!”
