Tonight’s high school basketball scores, stats and recap (Feb. 10)

Boys

Abilene 65, Wamego 57

Andover 64, Goddard 40 — Andover’s Eli Shetlar hit seven threes for a game-high 21 points, and Brad Harris and Chris Harris each had 10 points. Goddard’s Rogers scored 12 of his 14 points in the second half.

Arkansas City 56, Valley Center 33 — Trevor Pierce had 20 points, and Welch scored 12 for Ark City.

Belle Plaine 61, Conway Springs 44 — Bible scored 24 points for Belle Plaine, hitting four three-pointers, and Christy had 14. Conway Springs’ Taylor Wykes scored 14.

Bennington 56, Remington 51 — Eli Lawson scored 21, Talan Pickering 11 in the win.

Caldwell 57, West Elk 46 — West Elk’s Maddex Moreno scored 18.

Campus 66, Salina South 54

Cheney 73, Trinity Academy 45

Circle 33, Mulvane 23

Collegiate 62, Rose Hill 48

Derby 67, Newton 54 — Derby’s Kaeson Fisher-Brown scored 19, Jack Ulwelling 12, and Kaden Franklin and Dallas Metzger each had 11 points in the win. Franklin had nine rebounds. Newton was led by Cole Dillon, who scored 13 of his 16 points in the first half, and Camden Carr had 11 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter, hitting five three-pointers.

Elyria Christian 63, Little River 52

Goessel 54, Herington 52 — Goessel’s Noah Schrag had 16 points, Jake Wiens and Joey Lapp had 12 and Caleb Burkholder 10 in the win. Schrag and Burkholder each had seven rebounds.

Haven 65, Smoky Valley 35 — Brant Sipe scored 28 poitns and DJ Miller had 16 points, five assists.

Hillsboro 64, Halstead 31 — Brekyn Ratzlaff scored 29 to lead Hillsboro, hitting three three-pointers. Plenert had 12 points.

Hutchinson 62, Maize 49 — With the score tied at 28 at the half, Hutchinson outscored Maize 18-9 in the third quarter. Wade Myer scored 17 points, Garrett Robertson and Terrell King each had 12 in the win for Hutchinson. Brayden Myovela led Maize with 19 points.

Kapaun 74, Carroll 48 — Kapaun’s Will Anciaux scored 20 points in the win, and teammates Teagan Charles and William Thengvall each had 10. Carroll’s Mikey Brand scored 14.

Kingman 59, Garden Plain 53

Lakin 53, Elkhart 37 — Lakin’s Colter Oldham had a game-high 24 points, Adrik Gomez-Esquibel 13. Rhodes scored 16 for Elkhart.

Macksville 80, Bucklin 52

Maize South 51, Andover Central 49 — Michael Kates hit five three-pointers, finishing with 17 points for Maize South, and Tory Homan and Isaiah Atwater each had 11 points. Andover Central’s Kobe Smith scored 21 points and Jayden Brown had 12.

McPherson 97, Winfield 29 — Kyden Thompson scored 23 points and had four steals, Mason Miller 20 points and nine rebounds in the win over Winfield. Hayden Hoxie scored 13 points, Kreighton Kanitz 11 and Gabe Pyle 10 points with six rebounds. Cory Muehler had eight rebounds and eight assists. Winfield’s Trey Thiel had 11 points.

Pratt 83, Nickerson 55 — Carson Hoeme scored 29 to lead Pratt.

SE-Saline 46, Minneapolis 15

Wellington 59, El Dorado 44

Wichita Heights 83, Wichita Southeast 66 — Five players scored in double figures for Heights — Marcus Zeigler with 24, TJ Williams 15, Jordan Alford and Amalachi Wilkins with 11 apiece, Chase Robinson 10. Williams had eight assists, seven rebounds and four blocks, Robinson seven rebounds and four blocks, Zeigler five assists. DJ Brown led Southeast with 18 points, Asa Barnes had 13, Ismael Berry 12 and Mason Le 10.

Wichita Northwest 51, Wichita East 43 — Northwest trailed by three heading into the third quarter but outscored East 19-8 in the final period. Tasean Williams scored 8 of his 19 points in the period, and Javonne Glover had seven of his 13. Barry Glover scored 15, Manuel Martinez 13 for East.

Girls

Andale 41, Clearwater 37 — Kerschen had 12 and Kuepker 10 for Andale in the victory. Clearwater was led by Carli Carlson’s 17 points and Elizabeth Tjaden’s 11.

Andover 57, Goddard 37 — Andover was led by Brooke Walker’s 19 points, Alana Shetlar’s 17 and Katie Evans’ 11. Goddard’s Lauryn Gordon scored 16 and Marayah Coleman 10.

Belle Plaine 36, Conway Springs 33 — Haylee Osner had 14 points, Olivia Lange 13 points, eight rebounds for Conway Springs.

Bishop Carroll 61, Kapaun 32 — Landon Forbes scored 23 points to lead Carroll, Leah Henke had 17, and Avery McCorry 11 in the win.

Buhler 47, Augusta 39 — Aspen Peterson scored 16 points, Avery Williams 14 for Augusta.

Cheney 69, Trinity Academy 33 — Reagan Ayres scored a game-high 20 points to lead Cheney, hitting six three-pointers. Campbell Hague had 15, Leah Durr 13. Trinity Academy’s Kourtney Koster and Tara Wills scored 11 apiece.

Circle 31, Mulvane 23

Collegiate 35, Rose Hill 34 OT — Julia Herman scored 14 points and had 25 points, 15 blocks for Collegiate. Laney Conrad scored 12.

Derby 67, Newton 17 — Derby’s Addy Brown hit 12 of 13 shots — her only miss was a three-point attempt from past half court at the end of the first half — had 25 points, 11 rebounds and three steals in three quarters. Kyler Demel scored 10 points for Derby.

Eureka 43, Bluestem 41

Haven 53, Smoky Valley 34 — Sienna DeFrain scored 17 points and had 8 rebounds for Haven, Avery Brawner 10 points, seven rebounds, Sadie Estill nine rebounds and BrieAnn Brawner had six assists, four steals.

Hesston 60, Larned 26

Hillsboro 35, Halstead 32 — Shahan scored 12 for Hillsboro. K. Young had 10 for Halstead.

Hutchinson 32, Maize 28 — Hutchinson’s Josie McLean had 11 points to lead the Salthawks in the win. Brynley Smith scored 13 and Mattie Brownell 10 for Maize.

Inman 45, Sedgwick 38 — Suttyn Harris scored seven of her 16 points in the fourth quarter for Inman, and Kenna Woods had 13 points. Harris also had eight rebounds, Maci Neufeld seven rebounds.

Kingman 35, Garden Plain 33 — Kingman’s Morgan Freund had 18 points, 11 rebounds and Marissa DeWeese had 10 rebounds. Sydney Puetz scored 11 to lead Garden Plain and Molly Zoglman had 11 rebounds.

Little River 71, Elyria Christian 42

Maize South 55, Andover Central 52 OT — S. Hurley led Maize South with 15, hitting five three-pointers, Avery Lowe had 12 of her 13 points in the second half, including four in overtime. Howie scored 13, as well. Hayden Snodgrass led all scorers with 16 points, hitting four three-pointers for Andover Central. Taylin Tabor had 15 points, all on three-pointers, and Haven Deckinger hit three threes.

McPherson 70, Winfield 17 — Jordan Sears scored 27 points, eight rebounds, four assists and four steals in McPherson’s win. Alexis Dukes had 13 points, seven rebounds, Chloe Clevenger 10 points, seven assists and Jayla McLeod 10 points.

Pratt 42, Nickerson 26

Remington 52, Bennington 44

Salina South 55, Campus 19 — Macy Yost scored 11 to lead Salina South in the win.

SE-Saline 55, Minneapolis 49 — Reagan Goetz scored 34 in the win for SE-Saline.

Valley Center 36, Arkansas City 35

Wamego 74, Abilene 25

Wellington 60, El Dorado 39 — Wellington’s Kylan Gregory scored 16, Val Norwood 13 and Britt Zeka 11 in the win. Macy Parsons scored 10 for El Dorado.

Wichita East 53, Wichita Northwest 48 OT — Jaliyah Manuel had 20 points and Rylan Chandler 11 in the win for East. Manuel scored 16 points after the halftime. Kamyra Robinson scored 23 points to lead Northwest, and Nascent Robinson had 13.
