Wichita Defenders 49, Goddard 34

Dodge City tourney 

Campus 71, Shawnee Heights 45 — Four Campus players scored in double figures to help the Colts advance to the championship game. Sterling Chapman had 15 points, six rebounds, while Tai Johnson, Shawn Warrior and Steele Chapman each had 11 points. Keither Florence had nine rebounds. Sterling Chapman had six assists.

Campus will play Miege in the finals on Saturday.

Wichita Heights 58, Maize 40 — Heights was led by Bronxon Frierson’s 14 points, while Marcus Ziegler and Alex Norris each had 13. Desmond Harrison had eight rebounds, and Norris had seven.

Maize was led by Jaden Gustafson’s eight rebounds, while Kyle Grill had nine points.

Bishop Miege 58, Manhattan 45

El Dorado tourney

El Dorado 55, Circle 45

Great Bend 60, Kapaun 52

Manhattan CHIEF 69, Trinity Academy 61

Halstead tourney

Cheney 62, Andale 55 — Cheney’s Harrison Voth scored 20 of a game-high 31 points in the first half.

Haven 51, Garden Plain 45 — Haven’s Wyatt Carmichael had 13 points, while Zane Jacques had 12 to lead Haven to the win.

Hillsboro tourney

Hesston 63, Riley County 46 — Nick Arnold had 21 points, Cason Richardson 15 and Jackson Humphreys 10 for Hesston.

Holcomb 45, Hillsboro 40 — Hillsboro was led by Matthew Potucek’s 16 points and Brekyn Ratzlaff’s 12.

McPherson tourney

Lawrence Free State 67, Derby 51 — Free State went on a 17-4 run , taking a 50-42 lead early in the fourth quarter.

Free State was led by DK Middleton’s 22 points and 10 rebounds.

Amari Thomas led Derby with 11 points.

Free State was 23 of 31 from the free-throw line. Derby was 7 of 11.

 

McPherson 67, Wichita North 48 — Eli Pyle had 23 points to lead McPherson into the fifth place game. Sam Pyle had six rebounds.

Omarion Trezvant had 13 points for North. Taye Lawrie had six rebounds and nine points.

Junction City 67, Topeka Seaman 62

Valley Center tourney

SM East 82, Garden City 59

Maize South 86, Coffeyville 46 — Trey Reid scored a game-high 35 points, hitting 13 of 21 shots, including 3 of 5 from three. He also had five rebounds and five steals.

Ben Crowell added 11 points and Isaiah Atwater had 12 points.

Coffeyville was led by Brennden Graham’s 15 points. He made 8 of 11 shots and had even rebounds.

Valley Center 79, Ulysses 46 — Jakob Byrne had 25 points and Eli Isaacs had 18 for Valley Center. Marion Ponds had eight rebounds and Isaacs had seven.

Byrne made 6 of 12 threes.

Wichita Southeast 68, BV West 66 — Jackson Johnson made 13 of 24 field goals — 6 of 14 threes — to finish with 35 in Southeast’s win. Wesley Adkins had six rebounds, as did Micah Jacques.

 

Mulvane 71, Wellington 53 — Trey Abasolo led Mulvane with 23 points, Ian Comer and Gage Gerlach each had 11.
