Isabelle has rapidly turned into one of the state’s elite pole vaulters. At the Class 3A state meet at Wichita State’s Cessna Stadium, Isabelle set a state-meet 3A record by clearing 12 feet, 8 inches. She joined the competition at 10-6 and had few problems in winning the gold medal. She cleared four of her rst ve attempts, and then set the meet record on her second attempt.
